Bioshock

Jack Wright is a man without a country. He lives in the United States and fought during the second World War but he feels disconnected and lost since he's come home. More than anything, he feels that the odds are stacked against him. The constraints of this world are holding him back - if he could snap his fingers and go to another planet - he'd be the big shot he knows he is capable of being. But that's just a dream.

Until it isn't.

Jack meets Frank Fontaine - a man who used to think just like him but has found his new calling in the most unlikely of places, the rumored underwater city of Rapture. Jack is skeptical but when he lays eyes on the fabled North Atlantic Beacon Lighthouse, his skepticism dissipates. He and the small group of new recruits are about to find themselves thrust into a new world created by the mysterious Objectivist billionaire Andrew Ryan.

But the promise of paradise isn't always what it seems to be. As we follow this group of recruits, we'll learn that some of the surface world's most heinous and horrible beliefs survived the crushing force of the ocean. Jack specifically will discover that he is walking into a burgeoning civil war between Ryan and Fontaine and will do his best to play both sides. To make matter worse, doctors have just discovered a top secret serum that has the ability to give mankind powers he shouldn't have.

Rapture is about to explode.
